The past weeks were spent traveling through China for the second time in my life, spending time in both big cities and rural areas. We had a great time traveling by trains, planes and automobiles. There was a bit of a language barrier, but hand and feet are universal, so we managed.
Some gear talk: Since this trip for us was experience first, photography second, after much deliberation I opted for the handy combination of an EM-5 with 12-40 or 25 1.4, and an EM-1 with 40-150, all in a small ICU in my F-stop Guru backpack. It proofed to be a great travel setup. Next to that we took a little waterproof TG850, and a RX100 mk1 for convenience.
I've made an album on Flickr with a first selection, but would also like to share one picture per stop here.
