Micro 4/3 Times Square, NYC - first afternoon with Pen-F

Regular
Some more shots from my first afternoon (pre-Concert) with the Olympus Pen-F. All SOOC JPEGs, albeit with Color Profile 2 and B&W Profile 2. Really enjoying the experience with the camera - even getting used to having the fully articulated LCD vs the tilt type that I generally prefer.

Also, have been VERY impressed with the JPEG (non-filtered/profiled) that come out of the camera. Still shooting RAW+JPEG, but that might change. (Though the one advantage to a JPEG shooter in using RAW is that even when you use the Art Filters or the Color/B&W Profiles is that you get the original version also.) But for me - who does not usually do a lot of pixel level post processing - I am feeling this might be the Olympus camera that brings me back to JPEG shooting. We shall see.

Comments welcome. Steve

I shot Jpeg for many years. All technical matters aside, it does take a lot of time out of the post-processing stage. If you like to spend your photo time shooting and your non-photo time with life, a good jpeg shooter is perfect especially if you keep the Raw files just in case.
