Fuji 4 from a friends portfolio shoot

A friend of mine visited today so my wife could the models her hair & makeup and dress her for the 50's & 60's portfolio shoot.

He was ok with me grabbing a few images and I converted them to Sepia using SFX and wanted to create sharp but soft images - results below:

These are my first portraits with the X100 as I have read quite a few posts where people say it is no good for portraits.

I agree that the lens is bordering on the extreme for head & shoulder shots, it is however perfectly adequate for 3/4 length shots and renders really nice tone and clarity.

It seems like the X100 can do pretty much anything except sport / fast moving subjects..........works for me.
