Good morning.
One of your friendly, neighbourhood Three Wise Mods speaking. I'm sitting here in Bill's Pub, girding my loins before an assault on the Christmas shopping.
It strikes me that in order to survive the ordeal I have to approach it in a spirit of calm, patience and forgiveness. It is, after all, a time for peace on earth and goodwill to all men.
It strikes me that that approach would serve us well here too. There have been some outbreaks of bickering lately; snippiness that does nobody any credit.
So.
My Christmas appeal is, in the words of Bill and Ted, "Be excellent to each other."
If not I shall be removing baubles...
