I took a two week cruise along the Norwegian coast last recently, visiting amongst other places Oslo, Geiranger, Stavanger, Flam and Bergen. I carried my Fuji X-A1 with just the 18-55 lens (I like to travel light and in fact that is the only lens I have for that camera anyway), and the GR for those times when I just wanted something in my jacket pocket just in case.. I was especially impressed with the Fuji lens, very sharp indeed, and the Jpegs from the X-A1 came out quite nice.

Anyway, a few of my shots, hope you like one or two.

    Not too far from Philly
you should be able to figure it out...
Great stuff. I love all of the scenic stuff and particularly some of the urban shots, some of which I think I recognize as Bergen, but I've never been to Oslo so I can't say for sure. I also love the angled shot if the deck chairs. I did a similar cruise in 2001 and wish I'd been more into photography at the time because I don't have anything but a few family snapshots from that trip. But what a beautiful place! As you show so well here...

You recognized correctly yes. But only 1 or 2 were from Bergen. Oslo has only 1 entry in the series I believe so just for you I will add a few of my B&W shots from that city...:) We were only there for one day but I liked the city a lot, may go back someday, it is not that far from where I live in these modern days.

Anyway, these are a little less scenic, more lines and perspective, which is one of my favorites themes...

and finally one that was already in the earlier series (well same subject anyway), but I like how the B&W treatment seems to give a nice "swirl" to the water...

The swirling of the water looks awesome, and the b&w architecturals are excellent.
