I spent a few days in Vienna last week and took the GR only. It was a little challenging due to the fixed focal length of course but I find you adjust and start to look a little differently at the world (or Vienna in this case). It is a beautiful city with great architecture, good food, friendly people and enough to photograph, so I hope you like one or two...

The "another church" interior looks stunning:)

Yeah, some of these churches and buildings just shout out with wealth and riches, a result I guess of the times when Austria was one of the most powerful and richest empires in Europe. Nobody wanted to be outdone so every new church or palace had to be bigger and more opulent... Good stuff for the modern day tourist...:)

Excellent, a nice presentation of Vienna and the GR!

These are really wonderful photographs of a very beautiful city. My brother in law comes from Salzburg which is Vienna's great rival city. I once remarked to him how beautiful Vienna was and he replied "Yes but it is full of the Viennese" !
