    That boat in the fog with the city peeking out above is an amazing shot, mysterious in a way though not the dark brooding kind of mysterious, maybe fantasy like. I like how the fog divides the second one too. I've never shot fog yet.

    you should be able to figure it out...
    I love your perspective with that 75mm Gary. I feel like I see naturally with wider angles and tend to only use telephotos for shooting obvious types of stuff, like close-ups of far away stuff. I've only done a few shots in my life that I ever felt started getting at the unique perspective you can get with a tele rather than just using it as binoculars with a camera attached. And those I mostly lucked into rather than really seeking. All of these are nice but the first two are wonderful in really unexpected way...

    Ray made the same observation that I did. I would have never even thought to use the 75mm in that compositional manner. VERY cool. I like #1 the best, but that bread looks so yummy if I don't eat something soon, that will become my favorite.

    To me it is all about filling the frame. I don't, at least I don't try to pigeon-hole lenses into categories.
