It's Friday, so Barrie's off to the Queens Arms at Slapton for his usual Friday lunch.

This is Cos, now what has she got her eye on?

Ah yes, my lunch, but not the cider I hope.

She's hoping for a chip or two. Charlie, who thinks he's her owner is sitting at the bar reading the newspaper. As long as he has his back to me then she'll probably get a chip, or two, or even three.

It looks like she's on, chip time!

Barrie - thank you! Cos is a lucky girl to have the run of the pub - and to have you as a friend. The publican must know she's an asset to his place - and her coloring is a perfect fit!

I so appreciate seeing both the outside and the inside of your regular hangout... Why is it that everything is so picturesque and neat and tidy in your town? Not that we live in squalor here... Perhaps my Anglophilia is showing itself? Many thanks!

    BB,

Cos and Charlie actually live in the cottage next door, but she does spend quite a bit of time in there

They are both quite fortunate indeed!

There used to be an old "pub" in a town next door to ours that allowed a few select dogs in..and one of my former dogs was one of them. That said, the interior decorating left quite a lot to be desired!
