A Lioness and a Tiger on the streets of Kingsbridge

    Both are from the Leyland stable, the Lioness dating from 1929 and the Tiger from 1938.

    Paul, there might well be big cats out there somewhere, but I'm not going looking for them.

    Well I don't know about cats, but I've met a couple of funny birds from Devon. One of them actually came from Kingsbridge

    I've only just looked at these properly on my 'puter (rather than my tiny liddle 'phone) and that Lioness is quite something - the original "stretch limo" almost.
