I grew up on westerns . . . Gunsmoke, Maverick, The Lawman.

Then one summer, my Dad and I "discovered" spaghetti westerns. Who could ever forget the theme for The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly?

I guarantee you won't forget this version:

I heard this performed by a mandolin orchestra years ago and it was also excellent. I have learned one thing during slow times at the record store. If you go to youtube and type in almost any song title and almost any instrument, you WILL find a version of it out there.

I'm still looking for "The greatest Disco-hits of the 70s in the bagpipe-version". :)

What you need now, Luke, is a bit of "Mary Schneider - Australia's Queen of Yodelling" - "Yodelling the classics" (Brahms, Mozart, Beethoven,...)

(and yes, that's Australia. Not Austria. :) )

I heard a piece about Polish reggae on the radio yesterday. An unlikely combination, but it was better than you might think. Reggae is very big in Poland, apparently.

Haha, no. That's just a gag from one of my favourite TV shows back in the day. The two main characters go on a road trip through the US and the only audio-cassette they have is that.

    "Staying alive!" :)
