Sony A7R and a MF lens for the price of a Leica lens cap

Excellent shots. I was looking for that lens one time. Which version is that & how is that balance with the camera?

It`s a 1972 version, going to f 32 and originally coming with the F mount (now converted to AI), 5 elements in 4 groups, 7 iris blades. The balance is fine, the lens weights about 430 grams and the A7 grip really helps holding the combo easily with one hand. This is my first Nikkor and it won`t be my last, I`m really impressed with the optical performance and the build quality is superb. The next one on the wish list is the compact 85 f2.

Lovely images. How much post processing was involved?

Cheers, Jock

These were all ooc jpegs with standard in camera setting as aperture does not support raws yet. Then exported into silver efex pro and converted into B&W by using one of its pre-formats with a particular film look added on top.
