Some beautiful images, but I do feel a bit sorry for the rabbits.

I tried to pretend they were all pets, like mine was.

They probably are someone's pets. It's just that awkward way that small kids attempt to hold animals that is cute but maybe not so comfy for the little critters.

I believe this is a Central Asian Shepherd.

Some nice shots and a beautiful dog. It might also be one of the many variations of the Caucasian Shepherd Dog. We came across these when we lived in Georgia. Near us a particularly fearsome one of these guarded a family's plot of land and used to go crazy every time I passed with my dog. I passed by one day and watched as the grand-daughter (I assume) of the owners climbed onto the dog's back and rode her round the plot.
Incredible animals - they can take down a wolf but are as gentle as lambs with 'family'.

Great photos, I wish I could have done that with my kids when they were little but I couldn't afford more than a point and shoot here and there. And I love that magazine too, thanks for sharing!

CORRECTION: Disposables... my p&s was a Nikon and I loved it.. then it died.

Maybe that can be your project for the year. Take some amazing photos of scenes, and master the black arts of Photoshop and insert your children into them.

That's interesting actually.. though what I had done was a lot of staged, this is them in their new clothes photos.

When I was helping my mom go through her old photos, we laughed at how each year she took a photo of all her boys dressed up and ready for another year. Maybe I'll try it with one of those and see if anything remotely cool is possible. At the very least, it'll be good for some laughs (mom, why did you make little Luke wear a bow tie!)

Very cute kids and animals, amazing scenes as Luke points out. But something is a bit over-the-top with them for me. I'll stop there though - those shots took a heck of a lot of vision and skills to get.

So far I have never seen child photography better than

    http://jinkyart.com.au/blog/page/20/

I just realized my wife and daughter's session with Barb are on the blog as well.

    http://jinkyart.com.au/bali-2/

She goes beyond just great, to us what she captures is inspirational. Her use of color and the way she captures the emotion at just that right moment. It's uplifting and joyful to see her work.
