Of all the new Oly gear the VF4 is the one that is tempting me. I have been spoiled by large viewfinders (Canon FF), and the idea of having a "FF size" EVF on a pen is alluring. The only concern I have is how bulky the VF4 would be on an EPM2. It's likely to be a hulk-fist-mutant contraption.

I'll try & get it for my E-PL5 & subsequently move my VF-2 to my E-PL2...

you should be able to figure it out...
I might if I still had a camera for it. It would work but would look REALLY hulk-fist-mutant on the OMD!

I thought that the old VF-2 itself might be classified as hulk-fist-mutant on something like an E-PMx!

Right... Not for the foreseeable future anyway. And given the way I'm downsizing on m43, probably not at all. For long lenses (which is most of what I'm keeping in that format), I really like a viewfinder pretty nearly always. So I'd be more likely to go for some future upgrade to the OMD than any of the models that would take a removable finder...

If you turn it sideways, you could go double EVF.

If you make the second one an OVF at the correct focal length and magnification, you could have true binocular vision

It's a whole new level with the VF4 -- like mounting a FL50R on the hotshoe.

Already have the VF-2 and although I don't think I'll be able to afford to upgrade my E-P3 anytime soon, the VF-4 is very tempting.

    For sure!
If go by the numbers sheet, the VF-4 easily outperforms the VF-2.

On a side note, I can also move my VF-2 to my XZ-1 in order to "justify" the VF-4 purchase....

*wonders, then, what it would look like on an XZ-1*
