trying to straighten these on my little netbook drove me to distraction, gave me a headache, and so gave up in the end ... you'll just have to tilt your heads a bit

The world is not flat, nor straight so fear not, pdh!

Many thanks for this monochromatic color view of the sea and sky. I feel a the words of Carl Sandburg's poem "Fog" haunting me.

I'll be interested to see what these images look like on a decent screen ... I'm trusting to luck and the Olympus jpeg engine here! ... they can't be too bad if you and pictor approve of course ...

Hey...Ya have my sincere approval also...not that it's needed.
That first one..... It's like the harbor to Heaven...
Just so simple and yet soooo enticing.

I'll bet that photo could even calm down some of my nutty friends.....

pdh, your views underscore why I have always been in love with the ocean. I find great freedom and release in looking out at the unobstructed view that goes on forever - and is ever changing. My favorite place is to be by, and preferably swimming in, the ocean.

I think I must have been a sea otter or a porpoise in a former life.

Thank you for these three, pdh.
