    fellow refugees from mu-43 might recognise this fungus from a series I had there ... this is the first decent shot of the season this year ...

    For some reason the fungus is disturbing for me :biggrin: It looks like something meaty sticking on a tree. Great image though. :smile:

    It is a wonderfully clear image of the middle fungus, and its mossy spot!!I have to admit that my reactions are along the same lines as Hyubie's. They really are quite "meaty"....though that middle one does look rather like a hand with its thumb up and the rest of the fingers curled over slightly.:wink:

    Oh yay! More meaty goodness! :biggrin: Not much into fungus (most especially this one), but my curiosity got the better of me, so I checked your flickr link. Don't get me wrong - great images really - but if your first post reminds me of "something meaty", a lot of the flickr images makes me see some dried human ears or something similar. :smile:

    Now I'll go for dinner. Or try to. :smile:
