We were in the wonderful city of Bath last Tue and I had the GR with me (as usual), I managed to grab some "street" images of the time that I am pleased with and the results are below

Thanks Both for the comments,

90% of the items in the front window are used - they always have a good selection of used cameras & Lenses as well as new, they are also Leica specialists.

About 5min away is London Camera Exchange (Nikon Pro dealership) and they also have a great selection of used cameras all with a 6 month guarantee for good prices.

Add to that the good subject matter all around and you have a good photographers playground!

Thanks All,

Despite the big camera I may have with me, the GR is always close to hand and I know it will always deliver when needed - it is still to my mind a very under rated camera.

Hi Mr. Doug

I had been pining for another full frame and came across a used Nikon D3s (9776 shutter actuations) and immaculate apart from a couple of very minor dings in the bottom of the battery pack, no marks/scratches anywhere else and works perfectly.

It had been owned by the Police who traded it in (for peanuts), as I have been a good customer I got the camera body for £1055.00 with a 6month guarantee - big beast but still smaller than my previous D700 with battery grip. Bit of a no brainer and I picked up a new 24-105 AFS G f4 as well (I also have the superb AFS 50mm f1.4G lens) - just need the 85mm f1.8 now and I will be happy as I am shooting more paid portraits and this camera with it's sensor will deliver superb tones and quality.
