I love the second one Alf. The first one almost works but I generally need a strong focal point and in a shot like this that means SOMETHING should be in sharp focus. The second one has plenty of OOF area but the sharpness in the pup's face really pulls you in. The constant blur in the first one sort of leaves me hanging even though it's a cute pic of the dog...
That was shot while drinking and it shows!
