Same location different day, comparisons welcome, the B&W image has been better received.

    The colour one for me.
The B&W type of shot has become a cliché since the appearance of Silver Efex :)

The b&w is too dark for me but the colour is just beautiful, particularly with how the shadows of the clouds fall on the land.

Interesting comments, the B&W is lightroom only, I may have a re think on the color and try to squeeze a bit more out of it

you should be able to figure it out...
I think it was tri-x. Silver Efex is just the latest iteration. I prefer the B&W, cliche or not. You know what they say about cliches - they'd have never become cliche if there wasn't something to em.

I like 'em both. I prefer the composition of the color one. And I agree with Nic that the b/w is too dark (though mainly just the top half....perhaps a gradient filter).

I prefer the BW one, although I would have made the sky lighter.

BTW is this Mountain reflection photo on your Flickr site a picture of the same mountain? I really like it:

The mountain reflection is great too!
I prefer the slightly different vantage point in the B/W because it makes the foreground a bit more dynamic (the rocks form a V shape to mirror the mointain), but the light/shadow play in the colour version is beautiful, as are the colours themselves.
