A scanner was indeed used to digitise the image, but was not part of the process that produced the image.
No processing chemicals were used, wet or dry ...
Further reading is necessary
Looks a bit like the flowers were pressed (maybe using iron/wax paper technique or a leaf press) and then scanned. Nice effect however it was done
