Castle in the woods

I was trying to get the feel of a German fairy tale castle in the midst of fairytale spooky woods. Does it work?

This is Burg Eltz in Germany - definitely worth a visit, it is still lived in by the same family that owned it in the Middle Ages.

(Nikon 1 V1 with 30-110 lens, converted in Aperture).

That is awesome. Cursed be to the generation that sells it for a quick buck. A few million bucks through it may be.

You would need a few hundred tonnes of dry ice to get that effect.

And I think the visitors wandering about in that shot will make it very hard to create a spooky atmosphere.
