Had a day between meetings so took the D810 and some glass out and about around Chicago, my first visit but loved this city!

Very nice shooting Shane - with a few additional nice ones in your Flickr stream. I just started shooting with the Voigtlander 58 f1.4 and, to my surprise, really like the focal length (haven't really bonded with a 50 in a long time). So I'm gonna rent the Nikon and shoot them back to back for a few days and see if I want to spend the $$ for a used copy of the Nikon. You're doing really nice work with it. It seems like a lot of people mostly use it as a portrait lens, but I'd be more likely to use it a lot like you have here, relying mostly on 85mm and greater for portrait stuff. So it's nice to see some of these examples, as well as the fine work with the Sigma 24 and Zeiss 50...

Hey, thanks guys - much appreciated

Ray - the Nikon 58mm is an interesting lens, I went from the Sigma 50mm ART to this and of course it's no way as sharp but it does have something - i'm increasingly looking for lenses that have character and the Leica and Nikon 58 has bucket loads
