I just got this lens and adapter and I'm having fun trying to manual focus. The NEX screen is really good for this. I'm not always managing to nail the focus but I hope to improve my hit rate over time. I really like the colour/contrast of this lens

I can see why your smitten - the colors are lovely and the way you, the lens and camera have gotten the pure feeling of light is wonderful.

We've had some beautiful light here in the UK for the last few days in the late afternoon. I'm trying to make the most of it as November usually brings the dull overcast sort of weather I hate :(

I should add that my Leica X1 falls into that category I'm afraid. Not being disloyal or anything

Christine, with the X1 are you using jpegs? Is it set on standard? I have to say that I was not using the jpegs, and thought that the DNG files were really nice, color wise.

I'm using DNGs too but for some reason the English grass greens look too intense whilst the pictures I took in Spain seem just right. I've tried altering the white balance in LR but will probably have to try and alter the green channel a bit although I don't like messing about with this really :( Can you think of anything else I could play with?
