That's amazing. Does AF work with that setup?

    No auto focus.
Need to use the adjust ring on the mount. A bit difficult to focus with the poor definition of dp1s display.

It's certainly a very good lens.

Thanks for the pictures. I've heard of a M-mount DP. Could be the same manufacturer...

Thanks for the report. I am interested also esp w/ having 2 dp1's. How did you contact and how much did it cost? I assume m mount might be more useful for me. As you say the display is not the best for mf.

You bought one! Awesome! I saw those a few weeks ago, but I couldn't bear the thought of my DP1 or DP2 being ripped apart to accommodate M-mount lenses. The wooden grip and aluminium front plates look pretty special, though. Hope to see some interesting photos and comments from you!

Some test shot for the New this new custom DP. I use the G45 and G28 to make some test shot.

The lens fit into this machine had a black corner. But the images itself is great for me. Just like using a LOMO camera.
For the G45, because of the black corner, the maximum aperture is 2.0 and minimum aperture is 4.0
For the G28, aslo have the black corner problem, the only acceptable aperture is 2.8

I take a few shot today, and find that the MF is not difficult. The experience really like using an old range finder camera. "Think & shoot", all menu operation.

These shots have a great look and feel to them, thanks for sharing!
Always loved the original DP1 and DP2 (well maybe not always, but most of the time ;) ), this looks like a fun modification! Very cool :)

Wow, this is amazing. Thanks for sharing all this info and samples. I saw that they are performing the conversion on DP Merrill series and offer various mounts.
I´d love to use my Pentax DA limiteds on a DP merrill...
