I wonder if Fujifilm is ok that some of these promo shots (only checked one) were done with an Olympus E-M5? :)

I'm beginning to worry that Fuji will go down the route Olympus took with their Pens---the camera for the dainty girls (as Seinfeld said, "not that there's anything wrong with that...."). And not that that's the reason I've been selling my Pens.....

Girl aside........That is probably the best looking camera I think I have ever seen!!!!! If it performs as good as the X-Pro1 (and there's no reason why it shouldn't) then it's going to be one hell of a great package! Maybe enough to sell my beloved X100.

Agreed. What I really like about the images is that (somehow) the women has a "softer" image quality (brighter with lower contrast) while the camera was stark and sharp. I thought the camera looked really nice.

Do you think we can get one of those girls free with the camera?

Seriously though i have been looking at other images taken with the X-E1 and they are pretty stunning. Very very close to Full Frame DSLR's. Seriously thinking of upgrading now!!!!! Roll on Staff discount!!:dance3:

Could Fuji not make another version without the tiny integrated flash unit but with a WiFi unit in its place?

THANKS!! I'm already in a constant state of penury because of my accident prone dogs...if I worked in camera store I'd probably really be in trouble.

I really need some sort of software that blocks all images and discussions pertaining to the X-E1.

    1. That is a super looking camera.

    2. That is my kind of girl! Wow!

    3. And this absolutely proves that the OM-D can be used for professional purposes. Heck, what do I need to do to make my OM-D take photos like that (apart from drafting in a similar model)?

Edited to add: I just checked the EXIF, the focal length is 45mm, so it is most likely the Oly 45/1.8. Darn, this is going to give me lens lust, and I only just bought the Pana 12-35 thinking it would be my last m43 lens purchase. Darn, darn, darn!

You would really think camera makers would be more sensitive to that. "If we hire you to take ad pictures you have to use our camera. We'll loan you one if needed." It's just not that hard to do.

Yeah, I hope that Fuji Marketing Inc. doesn't see this, lol.
