It isn't just a Golden October here in rural southern Oregon....sometimes it's very red as well. Including these Cochiti peppers (Capiscum Anuum) from the garden, normally native to the hot, dry semi-arid regions of the Southwest which have flourished surprisingly well up here in the rainy Northwest. They are quite tasty - and easily as HOT as they are RED.
