Shooting this week in a very different place - coastal New Brunswick. Boats and beaches are...fun... (but still OT for this thread series.... see golden leaf, or two... ). All with the Leica X2 this week - staying Compact.
My contribution is another shot I took the other day, visiting friends in the Cascade Mountains of Cental Oregon - at a large man-made lake, Tumalo Reservoir. The patterns on the water formed by sludge and - for want of a better word, pond scum - are complex and beautiful.
I had a bad cold yesterday or hay fever with a vengeance. I slept in and took it easy inside, away from whatever alergens are in the air, and feel a lot better, but I'm falling back on these crabapples taken on the 17th.
