    Starting this one off.

(Not sure which crop I liked better - posting them both):

.. actually think the 7x5 suits it better. What do you think?

I definitely prefer seeing the extra flow at the bottom

+1 to the second version, the bit of extra bend in the river makes the composition more interesting (IMHO)

Taken from my morning "coffee" chair. One of about 15, that have moved into, our "neck of the woods", for the winter. They go elsewhere for the summer. This was just after daylight in a rainy, dark, cloudy morning.

Another photo with the intense morning light we get sometimes in Oregon on cold, crisp fall mornings. This is taken at the Klamath Falls train station where I had to take a family member who had a train to catch.

The second, with more of the bend of the river, works better for me.

Sixth time's the charm, almost! This round metal thing is about 6" across, and I have no idea what it's doing on the edge of an alley. Porthole into another world seemed as good an explanation as any, but after six lengthy tries at editing, I still haven't got it interacting with mundane reality quite like I want it to. Ah well, time's running out, so it's now or never! Taken on Oct 3 for this PAD.

Rain today. So here's the statue in town square from a few days ago.

Was busy bottling 2 batches of beer and a batch of cider yesterday. Here's one from the weekend... wife and friends looking at the Boston skyline from the cemetery across the street.
