TheRubySusan asked me about Victorian post boxes a few days ago, so when I saw this one today I thought I'd better take its picture for completeness.

Just my size.
My largest Doodad:
Went to a concert in the summer with a good buddy of mine and we got super close to the front only about 3 people in front of us. My favorite band came on and they always put on an amazing show. At the end the lead singer/guitarist took a bunch of his picks and tossed them out into the crowd. Well one just so happened to land right in front of me. That's the only time anything like that has ever happened to me.

Thank you, thank you! It's nice to know there are still some out there! It's pretty remarkable, too - at first glance, it looks like an ordinary post box - until you read the initials!
Eye-catching photo, great story!
I want one! Someone in town is using a real bicycle like this - it's just not the same! And to catch it with the snow still falling like this - great shot!
A souvenir from Dublin, 2012. I had every intention of drinking it, but now, I don't know. It's sort of nice to have something in the house that's NOW LEGAL - illegal since 1661.

Irish moonshine. It was actually mentioned on an episode of Star Trek NG (trivia fans take note).
Visting the rural farmhouse of old friends in southern Oregon, and she happens to be a ceramicist, potter, and ceramic sculptor. And guess who was there to great me when I stepped up on the front porch?
