Took a stroll through an unfamiliar neighbourhood when I found out I was early for a jazz photography gig. Saw these along a wall. I quite enjoyed the commentary in response to the delinquent ugly graffiti.

Brilliant. I particularly appreciate the use of the semi-colon

although I think the colon might be the more appropriate punctuation mark (!)

I didn't even notice the semi-colon, I just assumed it was a regular colon.

The handwriting is appropriately orderly and well groomed.

It's an old neighbourhood where there used to be lots of old homes and less privileged community. But in recent years there's been big developments, expensive townhouses built over old delapidated homes, warehouses converted into upper class habitations etc.

So there's a bit of a clash between the old and new, the poor and the rich, educated and non-educated, young and old, street kids and hipsters.
