    Hello everybody.

This is my first post here. I am a Dutch amateurphotographer with lots of interests. (Feel free to have a ook at my site).
I am a very happy Powershot G11 user. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the distortion at 28 mm. (Trees always seem to fall over). Is the G1X handling this better?

    hi Hanno, welcome to seriouscompacts!
unfortunately I can't answer your question, but I do wonder whether you're shooting raw or jpeg...

I can't give a definitive answer either. Maybe look at some test charts. Of course there are always ways to fix that in post production. There is a bit of a learning curve, but that's true with anything. It might help if you could show us an example of what you mean as well.

No, I work with Lightroom, and I have figured out how to apply distortion correction
