I've been flying smaller Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for a bit of time. Mostly smaller "toy" type craft. Decided to get more into video, so bulked up on my use of m43 HD video, got a MEVO for multi shot interviews and the like...but also working with aerial photography, so picked up a DJI Phantom 3 Standard a few weeks ago.

Nothing fancy here, high art or anything other than my own initial experimentation. The samples below are just the post processing tests I've done with some initial flights in video and stills. No RAW at this point, but pleasantly surprised at the quality from the JPG and standard video(non LOG).

I should be going for my Title 14 Part 107 Airman's Certificate test here in the next week or 2. Wish me luck! :D

Just thought I might share. Stills from a local park.

Ball field from 202ft AGL elevation - straight down (90 degree gimbal angle)

Same height as above, roughly a 45 degree gimbal angle

No filters, just the camera and some Lightroom post processing.

Thanks. This week, I investigate shooting in more of a manual controls mode and start pulling the max quality out of the footage!! :D
