I came across a meadow today with lots of fairy circles, here's a couple of shots.
Cute I think I like the colour best, you can see the circles a bit better
Allrighty... Youse invented the crop circles and I've read a million words about it...
So now it's something else.....
Please explain before I take off on another years research....
Thanks, nice photos by the way...
Dazed & confused...Don
I agree, it was difficult to get the circles to stand out. The circles were quite wide so I couldn't get any closer and still see the whole circle. Some of the toadstools were breakfast plate size e.g.
In Europe these rings of fungi are associated with fairies etc and are embedded in folklore.

That's great, thanks for explaining.
Gotta show these to my grand daughter.
She still thinks I'm magic.
I assume these are not for eating.
I doubt that these are edible, only experts should collect mushrooms from the wild, there are so many deadly irreversibly poisonous ones around that look edible. Scary
Absolutely, very dangerous but stunningly beautiful.
You did a great job with the camera.
The fairies are still out and about. Here's a circle from today.
These are very relaxing photos.
Beautiful light falling on this last fairy circle, Malcolm! Now that I know what these mushrooms portend, I'll be better prepared!
It's been a great day for fungi today.
I see those fairies have been nibbling. Lovely shots!
