Fireworks from the U.S. Space and Rocket Center

    I live in Huntsville, AL, home to space camp and the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. This year they decided to have a fireworks show right next to the Center. Its not everyday that one sees fireworks launched next to a Saturn V rocket in the same scene. It was pretty amazing. This is only the 3rd time I've in ernest tried to capture fireworks. Worked out pretty well this time. I'm convinced I need a cable release. These were with the E-PL2 and kit zoom lens.

    And this was unexpected. About 10 seconds into the grand finale, the wind shifted and well, this is what happend with all the smoke:

    You certainly had a great viewing spot, Jason - and it's very cool to see the "space ships" right nearby!

    My faves.. the first two where the rockets are lit by the fireworks. Brilliant. What a great show!
