me three, but I'll definitely let it expire (or ask for a refund). I'll get the ad-blocker and pocket the $50. If there's one think I hate, it's feeling like a chump.
. I really cringe when photography websites are being designed around cel phones users. I think I have a little puke in the back of my throat...please excuse me. Maybe I need to find a new place. I'm certainly not a photographer, but I'm not interested in hanging out with a ton of Instagrammers,.
What exactly is making you feel like a chump? I'm a current PRO member now, and it seems like on the new site Free+Ad Blocker = PRO. And I save $25.
(Ken Burns slow zoom/pan thing) HOLY HELL it just did that to me, and I'm a gentle guy, but I swear I would've punched a kitten to make it stop.
Curious - how many here have paid accounts?
180 at a time ... That'll take a while
yep and have had for about five years or more.. have over 300 sets on there and I think comfortably in excess of 15,000 photos - be a mamoth task to move elsewhere
I feel pretty much the same. I do think the justified photostream is truly awful, particularly for people with a slower computer / internet connection, but then I usually use flickr as a host and link to individual images on whichever platform it is that I'm actually using to communicate to others, so at the moment it doesn't really matter. If that ever changes, I'm gonna have to look into the whole collections thing though, maybe that'll help me organize it all into bite-size chunks.Various events on the web-a-net periodically cause me to think "I've got to get organized, cull out all of the damn photos I have up on Flickr, and move the best of 'em to something like SmugMug or Zenfolio". But then I START choosing the "best of" and I very quickly realize I'm not cutting enough, I'm not likely to cut enough, and I'm just not organized to put them into a structure that makes anymore sense than what I have now. And then I walk away and figure, screw it, its good enough. People that want to see my stuff will see it. I can still find it and link to it when I want to. And I seem to have a bit of a group of folks who either follow my work and/or I follow theirs and I'd hate to lose that.
