Fuji XP1: Fireworks in Black and White

    I shot some photos of fireworks in the Melbourne Docklands. I shot these handheld and eschewed the usual colour and long exposure usually employed with fireworks shots.

    I like the photos, I like the b/w, and I LOVE the word eschew.

    Well done. They show again how great the Xpro is for low light. It is worth keeping just for that. And I'm with Luke, "eschew" is a fine word, as are many other underused English words.

    Hahaha! I'll try to use eschew more often. I'm really loving the low light capabilities of this camera and how it writes in B&W, I'm thinking I might have it in B&W permanently :tongue:

    I took a couple of shots with my NEX7 as well with the 2.8 pancake, on tripod doing long exposures in colour (the usual fireworks shot), but I have to say, I prefer the B&W versions.
