Glebe Tram Shed

    Sydney's Original Trams were decommission in 1964. A few years back, a collection of trams were placed in an abandonded tram shed in the suburb of Glebe for restoration and then forgotten. This is how they are now...

    These photos were taken with an Olympus E-P1 and Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95 plus Nikon D90 and Nikon 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 and 50mm f/1.8 lenses.

    Thanks Peter for these great series. When will restoration of these trams take place? They look gorgeous!

    Probably never. They are in a very poor state.

    Just great Peter but a shame they've been allowed to deteriorate so much but 'that's life' wonder why they haven't been demolished altogether... or have they just been forgotten about?
