I was sorting through some shots I took yesterday and a song starting going through my head. I decided to make a diptych to represent the title..... can you guess the song?

If only I knew what the second flower was...

Red Rose of Texas, Briar and the Rose, The Dewy Red Petals of my Heart?

I won't name the flower in the second half.....and I can also tell you that the word rose is not in the title.

Is it a song by Tommy James and the Shondells perhaps?

I've got it, but I'll let someone else claim the prize.

But can you sing the song? I do believe I can hear Andy Williams... (I think he sang it... hmmm... memory failing)

I know that song inside out even though it before my time. Andy Williams always looks kinda square and buttoned down, but he is soooo smooth on that song that he BECOMES cool. I've always loved the crooners....even when I was into punk rock, I still loved 'em.

And Mancini is nearly impossible to beat.

Sorry, was out with the grandkids for dinner. I wish I could say it was before my time...but it was the theme song for my high school senior prom. And I used to be able to play it on the piano.

So "Moon River" has meaning to me!
