Out today on a wet and windy day and wanted to try the GX1+25mm for B&W - converted using SFX and very pleased with the fine detail in the image.

Very nice scene Ian. Looks like you picked a good moment to shoot - the clouds really add to the image. Great detail and tones. Wouldn't mind seeing a bigger version if you have one anywhere?

Very interesting composition, Ian, and, as always I dig your processing.

Are you still feeling like the 25 will take the place of the 20?

You gave a good eye! I can walk around all day with my camera (have the same combo, btw) but not finding anything worth keeping when I get home.

Norman, if you PM me with your emailm I can send you the Tiff or a larger JPEG if you like.

I have now got rid of the 20mm (swapped it + the 14-42 for the 25) so the 25 becomes my "standard lens" on the GX1 and have to say I am happy about that, the added performance & IQ more than makes up for the extra size & weight.

25mm replaces 20mm - no contest for me.
