Had a really wonderful experience this morning

A few days ago, my wife said, "You shoot a lot of sunsets, how about getting some sunrises?"

So we hatched a plan to rise between 4 and 5 am and get ourselves to the top of a knoll in St. Mary's Cemetery.

I shot with the LX100 and P900. You can see the results here: The dawn patrol (P900) . . .

What I found out was that the P900 renders images less saturated than they appear in the EVF, and the LX100 renders image more saturated than they appear in the EVF, so in both cases, I was fooled by the EVF. I intend to repeat the experiment tomorrow, this time including the OMD.

At a couple of points, Marlene said, "Look behind you!"

Moral of the story: marry a smart and observant wife!
