I'm in need of advice for my new V1 from Nikon.
    Which storage card you recommend?
Is Sandisk SDHC Extreme Pro 16 GB Class 10 45MB/s suitable?

    Thanks for advice!

    Hi Herman

Yes it will be absolutely fine, perfect in fact. If you use the burst mode (which is it's best feature) you are going to need a fast card. Actually the std Extreme 16GB is 45MB/s so that should be fine. The Pro version is 95MB/s (it is here in the UK) which you won't need although nice to have. The Pro cards are really for Pro's with Full frame DSLR's using burst mode. They are so cheap these days that if you can afford the Pro then go for that.....I would!

    Hope this helps.

Hi Andy, thanks for your advice.
I will check price of Pro version!
Important when shooting 60fps at full resolution with V1.

There was a big test of cards a few months ago in one of the magazines and the Sandisk Extreme's won hand over fist above all the others!!

Andy, does Nikon 1V1 support UHS-1? (ultra high speed class 1)

Is Transcend SDHC 8GB UHS-1 (85MB/s) suitable for 1V1? I assume it is.

Hello Sue, I like the V1 viewfinder, big enough and bright, useful with and without wearing glasses.
In comparision to Pan G1 the Nikon V1 has (almost) no visible noise in bad lighting situation.
    Just tested this morning.
