And a big part of how/why I ended up with another RX1 is because I'd decided that with full frame shooting candid portraits, a 24-120 f4 was enough and more useful than the far more exotic 58 f1.4 and 105 f2, which I then sold. I kept the dirt-cheap 85 f1.8 D around for when I really want AF and f4 isn't enough, but that's really a rare situation. And then, when I've gotta have 58 f1.4, there's still the 1960 version of that lens, which I love, either because of or despite the cat-eye bokeh balls in the background. A few nights later...I need to keep seeing images like that to remind myself that in FF terms, F2, or even F2.8 is more than enough. I've been pondering whether I've been a bit of a lemming in that regard, wasting time (and money) considering F1.2 over F1.4, etc.
