I read that and I don't have an effin' CLUE what they're talking about. But if it works, that'd be cool. Look, I already really really like whatever combination of lens and sensor and processing goodies go into producing the images that come out of the X100 and X10. If this new ILC is even better and it has lenses that make sense to me, that'll be pretty damn good. Whether the "organic" sensor will or won't work as advertised, we'll know soon enough...

One concern, though - if this thing takes off, will camera shops have to start having special organic sections like grocery stores from now on???

I suspect these hopes for an organic CMOS sensor may be a bit premature. Maybe in a few years.

The leak is an intentional design feature...right into the aperture mechanism to keep them blades nice and slippery.

I am hoping this is the camera I am looking for, the digital Contax G2, two bodies one with a wide lens, one with a short telephoto.
