The Photographers' Lounge (TPL I suppose?) - so much better than that other thing!

    Thanks Amin

So ... do all our post counts get reset now  ?

Glad you like it (or at least like it better than that other thing) !

No, really, I do like it, I think it works well.
It's not too clever for it's own good and its not bloody awful.

I think it hits a nice note that reflects the tone of SC over the years.

I couldn't agree more. Contemporary, relevant and appropriate. A really good choice. Thanks Amin.

OH! You too? I thought I was the only one. Misplaced apostrophes are much worse than omitted ones, for me.

So, who thinks that Amin kept floating "Gear & Photo" just so we'd be happy with whatever he chose?

I supposed this is not the time to mention that I used to be a participle dangler down at the semantics works but then I got promoted to infinitive splitter.

    Cheers, Jock

I think you'll find you mean that you suppose it is not the time ...

Commas too. Do you know the "A bear walked into a bar" example, pointing out that "eats, shoots and leaves" is altogether different than "eats shoots and leaves". The book of the same title is wonderful, even for those of us who are guilty of frequent slips -- which we always blame on poor typing.

Well, as the great Ralph Waldo Emerson so poignantly put it:

Well, despite the fact I often lounge (making the statement "photographers lounge" true, at least in my instance). I think it is supposed to be the photographers' lounge (the lounge that belongs to the photographers). But I won't be the stickler for details and ask for the missing apostrophe.

I had the apostrophe in the header but took it out when I added the ".org" since the web address doesn't include an apostrophe.

Edit: After thinking about Luke's interpretation some more, I have to put the apostrophe back in the header. If people forget it's .org, blame Luke .
