I like that! Very minimalist.
This is very beautiful pdh
Pretty nice. It reads well and has a very tranquil feeling coming from it.
Yes, very nice color and I, too, like the minimalism. Tell me who/what is Portland Bill and is that he swimming or sailing/under motor out there in the blue sea?
That's misty allright. Great photo.
I hope you don't mind me jumping in here, but one of the dictionary definitions of Bill is "a narrow promontory", which describes precisely the geographic nature of what the place is, a large rocky lump of land connected to the mainland by a narrow neck of shingle, such that it is almost an island, indeed it is sometimes called "The Isle of Portland" and locals will refer to it as "The Bill".
Been to Portland Bill a few time now and i wouldn't like to swim in there!! The water moves very fast from what i remember. Lovely spot though.
I've replaced the image now as looking this morning I was dissatisfied with the WB in the one I posted.
bit of an old lag are we?
Barrie, appreciate it!
pdh, I can't remember exactly what your picture's color was before, but I believe it was darker...and I do like the color of this version very much. Good choice!
there was a slightly violet tone to it to my eye, this one has "truer" feel to it
