My wife and I did our annual pilgrimage to Islington for the Angel festival and met the usual great set of people as well as enjoying a fun filled day that offered some interesting characters to take photos of, here are some of the images.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I have to admit to using the 45-175X lens a lot more for my people shots and despite my earlier reservations, I am now happy with it's performance and will be using it more where feasible.

The GX1 was as always spot on and super fast to use with exposure being bang on (I do shoot at minus 1 third EV at all times to avoid blowing highlights - as I shoot in Raw only, I can easily pull back detail from shadows if needed) - great camera and a very worthy successor to my since departed GF1.

Great shots Iansky! So these were all taken with the 45-175X? I own the Oly 40-150 myself, never seem to get such crisp picture with that lens as these though...

    Hi Pim,

Sorry about any confusion, the first 3 images were taken with the superb PanaLeica 25mm f1.4 and all the others with the 45-175.
