Keeping track of batteries, chargers, cords and more

If you're like me, you own too many cameras and too many chargers, batteries, cords, etc. It's hard to keep track of them all. I've always labeled mine with a simple label maker. Here's a couple of Iphone photos (LOL!) of the equipment closet with the 5D, Rx100, x100s, X-E2 and Canon S100 with the 15 or 20 various batteries and 6 or 8 chargers all labeled.

With apologies for Iphone image quality,

    Steve

I mark mine with a paint marker. But since I have just one system, they are just numbered so I can keep track of better vs. worse batteries, and rotate the "wear" on them over time.

Oooh.... I like THAT idea too. I may modify my system.

You should ask forum member Luke how he keeps tracks of his chargers, he's an expert on this. Never loses one.

  6. Being a one camera guy, it's a lot simpler.

I have a cubby in the living room which houses my camera and camera bag. All the lenses/accessories I have have a slot.

I do like the organization though, looking good.

Now if I could just convince my wife, but she is more the "live life in motion" kind.

I'll be ordering my 3rd replacement x100 charger this afternoon. I'm sure they are all wherever those missing socks end up.
