    Gary, I appreciate that you appreciate the POV. I had to kneel down in goose droppings to get these shots. :alcoholic:

    Thanks, Sue. Yep, the Fuji. The goslings were in the sun when I started shooting them, but as they began to move into the shade I didn't want to miss their interactions and couldn't increase the ISO to keep the shutter speeds up... the images are a little blurry when viewed larger than typical forum-sized pics.

    BTW, I know you're interested in the Canon SX50, and it has a neat little feature. When using an Auto ISO setting (like ISO 80 - 400) you can choose how aggressively the camera ramps up the ISO in order to keep the shutter speed high. I think that's very cool.

    Unfortunately when I see them I always look out for crows, hawks etc., and maybe the odd big fish as they make a tasty "meal in one" for those guys as well as foxes and similar - nature in action!!!
