Lunar eclipse at Cronulla - Tuesday 21 Dec 2010

Discussion in 'Scenic, Architecture, and Travel' started by PeterB666, Dec 22, 2010.

  1. I took these photos from Oak Park, Cronulla.

The first one was taken with my Olympus E-P1 and Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95 just to set the scene. Moon rise was at 8:04 pm and the time of this is 8:11 however; cloud on the horizon is blocking the view.

Neat moonlight through the vapour trail in the right-hand side there!

Thank you, Peter. Love the progression and, yes, that jet across the moon is quite something! My favorite it the finale - the silvery moon. Just beautiful!
