Memory Lane

Memories of Scotland last year, our daughter Lizzi was home for a visit from Canada so I booked us a cottage up in Braemar for a week. The weather was perfect so we got out for some lovely walks in the hills with the dogs. We also did a tour of the Edradour distillery at Pitlochry and bought a few bottles of very nice stuff there. It's the smallest distillery in Scotland - apparently.

C,mon - more memories please :D

I'd love to go to Scotland - my father's family originally hailed from there....many moons ago. Great pictures, Dewi - and love the captions, too!

If ever you get the chance BB I'd love to be your guide, I've spent many happy hours in Scotland and know it better than I know England (ish!) :) It's a great country to have ancestral connections with. My lot originated from Hungary, but how you get from Magyar to Merseyside is a mystery to me!
