  1. We received new stock of the GF3 and 12mm Olympus lens yesterday so i just had to take some test shots.

GF3 is really nice to use. A nice step up from a compact and comfy to hold plus easy to use.

12mm is a jewel, really nicely made and from the test images i have taken looks to be a superb lens.

Images below are just cropped in Lightroom with no processing at all.

    1: 80% crop

2: full image but not sure what aperture.

    3: 50% crop

Andy, it doesn't appear to be a contrasty lens.
Even tho' the images are OOC, I'd expect more contrast.
  3. That's why God invented Photoshop!! I do think the general image quality is pretty good corner to corner and it is very even. It's easier to add contrast than take it away so it looks like a good even playing field for processing. It is a bit steep at nearly £800!!!

Whoa! That's a steep price.... Not for me at any rate.
    Good luck Andy... Don

The usual £ per $ ... I have to say though for that kind of money I'd be expecting something really quite exceptional, and I haven't yet seen any images online to persuade me that it is ... there's time of course, lets hope they turn up ... still, a 2nd-hand Voigtlander 12mm + adapter is probably gettable for a little over half that price, although the Olympus is a few stops quicker ...
